 I'm right there with you Bohemian67. I loved everything from the late 70s and 80s until Lovesexy hit the record stores, at the time I thought it was BLAH, I skipped Graffiti Bridge, D&P was ok, O(+ BLAH! In 1994, after his much awaited and very disappointing performance on NPA Canal+ (what was he thinking that day?)I said Adios to Prince. Then I picked up Planet Earth in 2007, thought it was cool, and today I'm really enjoying LF and MPLS. Was frustrated I couldn't get tickets to his shows in Paris. Artists grow musically, their inspiration changes, their sound can take different directions, Prince is no exception to the rule. He has always surprised us with his creativity and his output. Sometimes we like it and sometimes we don't. Right now, I like what he's doing. | |

Put out TWO albums, while giving the reigns of the third to a studio artist who has yet to prove her worth and chops in a live setting, that even he's lost interest in, and are bland, watered down, and in need of shot of new spunk?
Bullied his way into another level of being an internet bully, and overall brat, as if YouTube is going to somehow rob him of his paycheck?
Charged people $77 for an album, and some videos, then abandoned the website (it's not a fan club by any means) while laughing his way to the bank
Did a few live shows in May on TV, then waiting the whole year to do a few at the end of the year.
