Plus Rico is a bit annoying and always has been at least around Paisley Park. I also was told at the Under the Cherry Moon showing at the Uptown theater this fall that he yelled stuff constantly throughtout the movie like, "Look Prince has a BONER". This is actually the reason I didn't go as I knew that many of the local Prince fans are just way too anoying to sit through a movie with. I was told it was AWFUL with all the yelling.

The first time I remember seeing him was at the the Rave un2 the Year 2000 taping and he was wearing all his stuff and yelling stuff like "Where's my NIGGA Prince?" From my limited exposure with him he REALLY likes to draw attention to himself.

I was at that showing of Cherry Moon. I was one of the people sitting with Ricco and we all had a great time. More Prince fams need to turn out for these events so there'll continue to be more and more here in MN. Let's not put each other down. Everybody just keep in mind what this is all about - Prince. Stop picking petty reasons to not show up at a Prince event. Don't judge an event that you didn't go to and don't judge any other person - take the time to get to know people. It is not my style to attack anyone or say negative things about someone nor will I here in this or any thread. I will say this, Ricco is a friend of mine and he will give you the shirt off his back if you ask him. More people should have a heart the size of his.

Lovemachine: why are you hating on Ricco? Check this out: Under the Cherry Moon-Uptown Theather. I do believe EVERYONE there has seen the movie MAYBE once or twice. It's not like we were missing anything. You probably would have had a great time had you chose to live thru your own experiences instead of someone else's.

Do you even know Ricco? If you don't then you shouldn't judge him! Ricco gets much love from those who know him and welcomes everyone to get to know him.

It is a sad thing to see that people are still out in the world who can't appreciate others. No matter the person, race, etc...

Ricco is a man that has been given a talent that he Shares with other Prince "fam". I have some of his work myself and we have spoke on the phone and in emails. He is nothing but nice..

So I guess the point to this posting is if you don't know the person personally, you really should not be saying much of anything... Right? After all one of the Golden rules is...

If you have nothing nice to say, you shouldn't say anything!

And Ricco YOU KEEP the magic going. There are far more people who appreciate what you do. Don't let a minor few take you down!
