Any truth in this story?

That music company AIWA is suing Prince for shouting "Aiwa!" during songs and in concert. "Hello Dublin!... can ya feel me this evenin'??? Aiwa!!

Check it out... he does it in the intro of 'Eye Know' and throughout his career. Is this really true??

Oh yeah its true alright. Everytime he shouts it he has to pay an undisclosed amount to the company, thought to be in the region of $3000.

I thought most people knew this?

Yeah, I heard that some time ago. Apparently they also considered suing each individual audience member who shouted it back as well, but then they decided that would be ridiculous.
