you know ive been wanting to start i thread like this for a while now thanks starting it for me 
but camille yes everyones favorite prince alter ego 
i love camille! hes soooo cute! 
but there was another thread in which someone posted photos of what they thought camille looked like let me try and find it here it is  they have a little discussion on what they think Camille looks like

It just crossed my mind to ask Prince, or whomever may know, "Where does the name Camille come from?"
I remember the hurricane in Mississippi about 40 years ago. Does it have anything to do with that? I heard that Prince's parents were from New Orleans.  "The Lion Sleeps Tonight... | |

I dont believe Prince would have ever emerged "physically" as Camille. I think it was one of those "Jamie Starr" type personas. Just an outlet for music. I think his greatest alter ego was  ...at least in the Gold Experience era. He had a clean fresh sound and great look.
I still love the Camille sound though. That voice is great! | |
