I think Joy in Repetition stands out, other than that there's a lot on The Truth that's worthy.

I truly adore $ AND Word...to no end....but PFunk gives me a rock hard boner EVERY time.
I was gonna say Planet Earth and get flamed untill I listened to it yet again and the barry Manilow part came up. I always forget about that shit. . I really. While that was happening I scrolled down some more and saw PFunk. I guess that's to say, depending on what day/time...it's gonna be different. The album Planet Earth I generall dislike but the One U wanna see gets me pretty randy to. I think Valenteena is pretty genius, searing guitar in an R & B/dance workup, but not very original for Prince, he been there done that... ...so for to day I'm going with PFunk

Greatness. In my post about funksterr not having a song for the last 20 years, I was actually going to specifically note three other songs.
Electric Chair, Joy In Repetition and Avalanche. And I see two of them just got named. (Granted two of them were right around that time frame). Take out parts of the first verse in Avalanche and I agree you've got a total masterpiece. The build up of the second verse is sheer magic.

Alright you've convinced me!!!! I guess I've really got to give this one another look too. yeah U should. The way the SAME bassline goes from a full throated rolling line to a tight, syncopated one is great. One sec it's one way and the next thing U knows it's completely different, but the notes are all exactly the same.
