To be fair, you could ask this question on any hardcore fan site. I've been tired of Prince on and off, but his musical universe is well worth knowing. If you are going to be a fanatic, you might as well choose someone with a large catalogue covering the gamut in musical styles, with hundreds of outtakes and side-projects, etc. Being interested in Prince is an uncommonly broad experience musically, especially when you also consider that there's this whole bunch of related artists and protégés. It has to be one of the most fascinating body of work to obsess over.

Only tired of those who seem to think they have had some sort of awakening, by realising that they do not like Prince anymore, and think that they need to enlighten everyone else in the world, whom they assume to have no idea about what music they (the un-enlightened) enjoy!

When will people realise that it is not about what is good and bad, but what people enjoy? Personally, I can't stand to watch basketball, bores me to death but makes me wonder this - aren't you, 4Love, tired of dreaming you and Michael Jordan have something in common etc etc?!?
