What is the MOST RADICAL ARRANGEMENT of a SONG.... What is the most radical re-arrangement of song you've heard?
Live or otherwise? You know how Prince doesn't always perform a song exactly the way it was recorded? Sometimes, like in "Kiss" he'll speed the tempo up, add all sorts of horn arrangements. In Alphabet Street, during the 90's, he added multiple pauses and sped the other arts up. I normally don't like it when he speeds up his live performances of songs, but I absolutely LOVE it when he slows them down, like his live performances of Dolphin where he slows the song down to a strange, pensive, ballad of sorts. your thoughts?

I don't know if it's the most radical, but I really love the way A Love Bizarre has been tinkered with over the past 20-odd years. From the stripped-down version Sheila did on SNL to the robust one on Live Romance 1600 to the sped-up jams Prince has been doing lately, I love them all.
The Little Red Corvette version he did at Montreux is also a really good redoing. Another one I might throw out there: I didn't like the version of TMBGITW that was on The Gold Experience, but I did like how he performed it on the Jam of the Year tour. It worked well live.
