Speaking of vault material.

Is the vault bootleg all the real songs in the vault?

All 688 of them?

No.

There's way more uncirculating unreleased tracks than circulating ones.

Prince occasionally mentions song titles in interviews that never get released with the forthcoming album. The most recent one was "The Divine". Previous mentions included "Old Friends 4 Sale" and "Schoolyard". Also in a scene from Graffiti Bridge, Aura is flipping through sheet music of unreleased tracks (I can't recall all the names right now). Some unreleased tracks have been performed live and still he never gave them an actual release (U Want Me, Turn Me Loose, In A Large Room With No Light). Also consider all the shelved tracks he wrote for proteges that never materialized. Cat Glover, Margie Cox, Nona Gaye all were supposed to have releases with Prince input. Also Carmen Electra and Jill Jones were working on sophomore CDs. It was also known that Prince was going to work with a 90's singer named Tyler Collins whose album never materialized.
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I made a similar statement on the thread about 'should Prince trying harder at pulling in younger fans'. It's sad that this is how some young fans are treated and dismissed by older fans on this site. Jarvius is a cool kid with some interesting threads and it's funny to me that people attack his age but lack the maturity to pass his threads by if they have nothing to contribute.

Maybe these are people not at peace with getting older themselves, so they reach at any reason to aim missplaced aggression at youthful targets.Prince is a gift, a treasure to be shared with music fans of all ages, we may have lived through it but we dont own it.

Baby You're A Trip could've been on 1999 ofcourse. It has the sound of Free and Moonbeam Levels, of witch was an actual outtake for 1999. I never really heard Jill's version in it's entirety, when I started to listen to it, it was so wack and horrible I stopped. It sounds like a bad cover of a Prince song.

Agreed. Prince's vocal is unique, no one else can replicate it without sounding out of place. I miss the way he wrote his vocals and harmonies back then.

That's right nod
I've lost the use of my heart, But I'm still alive, Still looking for the life, The endless pool on the other side, It's a wild wild west, I'm doing my best, I'm a soldier of love, Every day and night, I'm soldier of love, All the days of my life.
