How many different calendars from the 1999 era are there ?

You know the ones that came with the vinyl? Does anyone have scanned pics of them?

A limited release of the Little Red Corvette UK 12" also came with a spiralring-bound calendar version of the poster above too.

Oh yeah, what a lot of us wouldn't give to own those, they must be worth a mint now, because they were from the time he was still bursting through. I love the fact the 7th of June has been triangled on the Delirious/Horny Toad ones as its his birthday. Was Horny Toad a Bside on some versions of LRC too?
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Yes. The one pictured above and the 12" "Magazine Cover" Little Red Corvette.

While we are on the topic of 1999, I just have to say that I love the all of the images from that era...the purple coat and smoke going all around him looks awesome.

That smoky pic is probably my favorite Prince promo shot from the 1999 era. It's just plain cool.

I have the spiral bound calendar.

My brother purchased it with the 12" single which he had bought because he liked the song.

He hadn't realised that I had recently started my interest in Prince music and recognising it might be an interest I might continue, he gave me the 12" and calendar.

However, not being the collector-type, he had circled one particular date - our birthday (we were born two year's apart on the same date) - probably halving its collectable value instantly!

But I was pleased just to have it.

YES!! When I first saw a record that had this shot, I had to have it. They wanted too much, but I eventually found one on eBay.

yes i agree 2, that shot along with the bed and pens one are amongst the best done, the smoke makes him look mysterious and exciting, and the whole 1982/1983 fascination with the colour crimson (He was moving from the blue of 4U/Prince, past the Black and white of Dirty Mind and Controversy towards the Purple of Purple Rain (I have managed to colour code Prince's entire career).
The fact it looks up at him with the high colours (A carry over from the Controversy period?) makes him look strangely powerful and authorative, and then theres the pursed mouth (Wow its not a photo its art)
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Yep. It's a very well done, artsy portrait. Anyone know who took the photo? Was it Ed Thrasher? Would make sense since he worked with Hendrix (which this pic obviously nods to), and he did work on 1999 and Purple Rain.
