THANK YOU for posting this! It's so funny when ppl
imitate Prince to have a squeeky high voice (like recently on The Simpsons). His speaking voice is so low. Actually a little croaky here. Also cool how he gives it up for Robert Palmer in the 80's sighting an influence in him doing something like U Got The Look. "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"

Intro :
Q : Welcome Prince, who during 10 days has given his all in Paris. We've got the impression that you feel really at home now, Prince ? P : It's ten but it feels like 3. Q : It's because those 3 days were filled up good. On stage it was just incredible, During a great concert at Le Grand Palais we saw you very relaxed. Was it you who chose to play there ? P: Yes.After we saw the Chanel show there, it was quite impressive. I loved the building.I loved how the sound moved through it. After we did the 21 concerts in London, I went away for a while to study the bible and how sound moves through the earth. And buildings that are built with such mastery, ofter contain a lot of energy. That's good for everybody actually, when it's positive vibes of course. Q :That's cool ! But how did you manage to book the Grand Palais, because this was the first time anyone did something similar ? Did you just pick up the phone ? P : Hmm, they're very nice people that run the place and they were so gracious to allow us to do this. They said we were the first and hopefully not the last. (to be continued)

Q: and do you like the studio ? P: I love media, I don't care so much for the music I hearon the radio these days. Are you playing my music ? Q: Listen, Prince (playing Dance 4 Me) P: I love this station ! Best (?) I've ever seen Q : If you want to play here we can (?) the owner ! No problem P: OK cool Q : Are the other venues where you'd like to play in Paris, like other places, monuments ? (in the background : In my home !) P:(laughing) You got pictures of your home ? Q: Yeah ! P: OK, lemme see Q: (laughing) It's called The Louvre Museum. Do you know it? P: Oh yeah Q: I live in it ! P: Ooh Q:(in the background : Near this place ... He's a mummy) P: You're the man then ! I hear the Opera House is very beautiful. I'd like to check that out one day.I like smaller venues now, these days. The music that we're working on is quite intimate. Q: Prince, your life is really crazy. Was it like in a dream or did it happen day by day ? P: From my perspective it's not crazy. It's a gift from Jehovah God and I'm most thankful for it.To others it may seem a little crazy but their lives might seem a little abnormal to me, so...Everybody has their own perspective of the universe. Q: Prince, you cultivate the mystery. A myth has been created about you. You hold things back, but when you're on stage you surrender. You play for 3 hours non-stop, you seem very happy. Who are you really, Prince ? P: Well, you see me on stage and it takes a lot of work to get it to that level. When I'm not playing music, I'm studying and learning more about humanity and earth. Q: You play a lot of music and concerts. What is a normal day for you ? P: I play music a lot, I write a lot and study a lot. Q : Prince, you like Paris but do you know any French songs ? P: No, not too many. I saw "La Vie En Rose" (La Môme) and I loved that movie. Q: Prince, where do you find inspiration ? In women, in magazines, in literature ? In places ? What inspires you ? P: Most recently, just internally. I don't get inspired a lot, like I said, by the music I hear today, so I turn it off. There's some songs back in the eighties, I used to enjoy listening to. I used to like Robert Palmer when he was around so when I would hear that then you get the song “U Got the Look”. And different things like that, so... It's just really sort of flatline stagnant energy in music today. You hear the same songs a lot, you also hear the same music on the radio that you hear in clubs. Q: There is one song in particular, Purple Rain. Do you remember when it was written ? P: Absolutely... Well, if I told you it would cost 7 million dollars. Q: We'll pay you after the show ! You take credit cards ? (laughing) P: Dude's got the coolest voice I've ever heard ! Q: Thank you ! Nice thing to say because mostly people don't like my voice (background : I think he's joking) P: Not a joke at all. My voice sounds terrible, I've been singing. Q: Don't say that. You sound like a radio host at night. You'd like to say something ? P: yeah, what 's happening everybody, we're gonna play this next song. It's the seventeenth time we played it this hour, but you gonna hear it again. Q: Prince, we know you design your own clothes and jewellery, that look really fine, I must say. Why don't you launch your own fashion line ? P: Oh, I'm not so interested in that right now. Music is a lot like a lotusflower, I'm constantly learning new things so. Ehm when I'm done with this, then perhaps... I leave that up to the folks that can sow. I love to wear clothes, but I can't really make them. They're the ones that should make the money from that. Q : Thank you very much Prince for joining the 6/9 show this morning.Prince, an event, 10 days in Paris, unforgettable, Prince on stage and we hope soon Prince on the NRJ music awards in Cannes ! P: Thank you so much

The music he's working on right now is intimate? Hmmm I'd like to know more.
Music is like a lotusflower and he's still working on learning new things. Sign of a professional who is still in love with his profession. Good to hear. He's right about the radio and that's guys voice Nice interaction with the guys and he also understands what's it's like to hear something over and over on the radio! It's true today's music is repetitive and flatline but there are song dance/club tracks if you look hard that are really out of this world too! This here shows that he doesn't only think of himself when it comes to rights, so it's not all about the $$$ for him. I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh
