Flew to Paisley Park on two hours notice.

Stood in line for 7 hours to get aftershow tickets on 07/07/07.

Stood in line for 7 hours and almost passed out from a stomach virus because I was too stubborn to leave a show.

I flew to San Francisco for 2 days to attend a show for certain credit card holders. Mind you this was one week before a trip to Miami and 3 weeks before a trip to Honolulu. Needless to say I racked up some miles that summer!

I found out Prince was playing at the Empire in Vegas on my birthday. So...even though I was acting in a show at the time and knew I was taking a lot of risk...I bought a $312.10 concert ticket and a $500+ airline ticket. (My sweetie comped me a hotel room.)

I did four shows of my own that week (Thursday and Friday nights, plus a matinee and evening show on Saturday), then hopped on a plane at 9:00 Sunday morning for Vegas. Got to the Empire at 3 in the afternoon and was on my feet (in line and through the show) 'til around 2 that morning.

I got a late check-out from my hotel and then hung out in Vegas until my red-eye flight home left that night. I arrived home at 6:30 a.m. (didn't sleep on the plane), was at work the next day - and back onstage the day after that.

Purple crack...I'm tellin' ya.

I'm not a singer...and I'm not the most beautiful girl in the world...however, God has assured me that my heart is worthy of sharing love. As far as I'm concerned the ball is in Prince's court.

I hope U all understand, I'm not afraid of having Prince look me in the eye and say, I can't love you, I don't have time, your'e not my type...whatever blah blah he would come up with. I would give Prince a hug and say goodbye and call him a friend in my heart.

Tame, I hope you don't mind if I ask some questions:

- How old are you?
- Didn't you talk once about being a mother?
- What do you do for a living? Do you talk about this with coworkers, or just share it on here because you think we'd understand?
- So do you date, or just sit home waiting for Prince to magically realize you exist?
- And when you pray do you ask God SPECIFICALLY for Prince?


I ask these things because I can see teenagers who fantasize about growing up to marry our crushes... but we're not all Katie Holmes.


I'm being sincere in my questions. I'm trying to understand...

I'm 43.

As of a year ago my teenagers went to live with their father's.
I care for an elderly neighbor and fortunate to work at all in SC at this time.
I have discussed my feelings for Prince backwards and forwards with friends.
I haven't dated in 4 years deliberately hoping Prince would come for me.
When I pray, I pray for God's Will in my life...yet I am curious as 2 why God would inspire my heart to love Prince so deeply for 30 years.

Before my marriages and during them I love Prince
As a Virgin and a Divorcee...I Love Prince
Flawless at 17 and with age and injuries...I Love Prince.

Roped in like every other heart lasooed by a sexy thrill of a man? Teased and tormented for album sales like every other girl?

Is it love that God has prescribed 4 me? Why is it always here when Prince isn't? Am I Crazy? Or just Crazy in Love for a man I want to Love?

Prince loves somebody...When we know who it is...My mind will be clear.
Prince cannot possibly "Not," mean a thing he says in his music.

When the song "4Ever," makes sense to the world...I will be sane.
