Prince aftershowparty Hey, it's a while ago but I have to know. I was at a couple of concerts at the 21 Nights in London and at a couple of aftershows at the IndigO2. At the 3th August Dr. John performed. Does anybody know if Prince was in the club? There was a guy that looked just like him and people noticed and walked up to him but me
Did he just looked like him or was it Prince himself? He was dressed in black. He just was there looking around and standing to the left of the club.Who was there on the 3th August when the Dr. John performance was? This was the aftershowparty a lot of people complained about also myself oops Would be nice if you can give me answers.Thx alot.

Not me that's for sure. But dead silence from the org??? Now that's strange "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life -

If people actually walked up to the guy, guaranteed that it wasn't Prince.

i was there and prince was there as i could see him at the side of the stage. his guitar amp and pedals were setup at the start but removed part way through the gig. dr john played the show earlier in the evening and prince asked him to play the aftershow with the intention of joining in to jam if he felt the vibe. as he wasn't feeling it (mainly due to the audience moaning about dr john) he left and his guitar was removed

And it's sad that just a few can remember that day.I just heard a girl in the toilet:lol: say that he walked by.When I was back on the dancefloor again I danced to hard to recognize if he was there or not So you mean he wasn't at the club just on the stage behind the curtain?

here is the proof - have been in the audience that day and made this picture:
I think it was the same evening when our man just walked by outside the arena and we later talked to a guy who told us, that he had a small-talk with p asking him, whether he would play or not - he just said, that he must take care of his voice because of the concerts coming and could therefore not play an aftershow every evening. greets nV [Edited 10/18/09 4:19am] [Edited 10/18/09 4:25am]

He was side stage during Dr John set for about 5 minutes.
I remember people started chanting "We want Prince" while Dr John was performing and I thought it was quite rude...Dr John was great that night. Uni I think that was the night the guitar tech gave us the pics so we wouldnt steal them lol and Coleen jumped up on the stage and peaked under the curtain to see if Prince was there or not Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

On the next evening I had to promise at the entrance, that I will not smoke on the toilett anymore and that I will behave myself
