I have this thing where if I don't listen to stuff, I delete it.
me 2... I only care for SOUNDBOARD or very GOOD audience bootlegs... one simple rule; If I can't hear if its Prince, I hit delete All my stuff is in FlAC, well most of it... so, no wonder it will get close to those numbers of 100gb!

Most of them that are relatively easily available.
But who cares? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Keep in mind that's including live versions, remixes, extended versions of the same tracks. For example I've got 8 versions of Adore in my iTunes. So a lot of these number are 'technically' duplicates of the original. I think I have the same eight. I listened to my entire Prince collection that's on my I-Pod. Over 1500 tracks but doesn't include NPG or related artists. I also have a few of live CD's that aren't on my I-Pod. I have like 14 versions of Kiss on my I-Pod. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Why is everyone so fixated on a pristine sounding "bootleg"? The fact that it's a bootleg there shouldn't be too much of an expectation of superior sound quality. I love all of my boots with whatever noise is on them. makes me feel like i was there and if I was it brings back memories. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

If it's the problem to get them onto your mp3 player or Ipod, download Switch Sound File Converter, which will switch them to mp3 in a matter of seconds!

For me it's about the MUSIC... and if I can't clearly hear that it's Prince playing the guitar, whats the point really? It's good that your comfortable around them... I'm not...

Mouse said: I've got 537, according to iTunes: all of the official albums (excepting the title song & non-P tracks from Graffiti Bridge) & a few little extras I've picked up here & there over the years. According to the Play Count I've put Black Sweat on more than anything else, though that of course only shows what I play over the crappy speakers at my desk (on a relatively new computer) & doesn't reflect my iPod activity or decades-long Prince involvement.
I'd be curious to know how much Prince the rest of you have. All of them except for a few rare remixes. [Edited 11/12/09 11:59am] A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
