R Prince and Mani Xpecting??? Lots of little things that could be pointing in that direction...
"Xpectation" A baby cry. Haven't seen her with him, maybe she's sleepy... "Empty Room" Babies always need their own room. I'm sure there might be some other lttle tidbits. U know he always tries to tell us his life through his music

I would really doubt that Prince would risk having another child being as Pfeiffer's Syndrome is a genetically transmitted condition and is passed on at an alarming 50% rate.
But I don't think the things you mention are proof of anything. I read many reports of Mani in Europe and another report of her in Japan and nobody said anything about any baby. Also, do you think that the baby cry at the end of Delerious means that he had a baby in 1982 and didn't tell anyone? There could be a 20 year old Prince jr. out there . The last time someone thought that was when he sent us the ONA PIANO CD...the fact that there r 9 songs and a baby's cry makes one wonder though. but as often as ppl have had mani pg they would have had a few kids already. besides, prince would want to keep the child out of the media's eye so even if ts true, we'd probobly never see the baby. so we wont know 4 sure, unless he wants us 2. i dont blame him. there would b so much criticism & talk like there always is whenever he steps out of his privacy. If they aren't now I hope that they soon will be (as long as they're still happy that is). He deserves to be happy and I think a child would definately do that for him. He wants kids and I'm sure he feels the hands of time pressing down on him.
A quick question about the PS syndrome that his first child passed away from. I haven't really done any research about this infliction but is it like MS and can happen to anyone or does it take both parents carrying recesive(?) genes for the desease to manifest? May sound like a stupid qeustion but like I said I haven't looked into it myself. Luv 2 U all!

One thing is certain, Prince will NOT be dangling any child of his over a balcony! The man has a lot of common sense and I think he would be a very protective father. I hope he does have a child one day if he still wants to have children.

Using your reasoning if I started a thread called " Do you think Mani gave Prince the Aids Virus?" ,which is just me thinking out loud, you would find that post perfectly harmless & fun? When you start a thread based on nothing more then your own thoughts you are setting up the basis for rumors & gossip to spread. While from your point of view it is harmless other people will repeat your thoughts as fact. "Hey I saw on prince.org that Prince & his wife are expecting!" Of course you can't control the interpretation of your words by others but you don't help the situation by asking questions with no basis in fact aside from your own random thoughts.

Since Prince and Mani are JWs they may have told them that they can have babies in the new system or new world, and the baby will be perfect and your babies will be born without pain, and he has also been told that he will see his son in the new system
My aunt,(Who is JW) told me this same thing about my self many years ago.. But people have said they were expecting ever since they were married. But I hope so because he deserves the happiness of having children. I just hope he doesn't wait for the new system to have them.,

Maybe Mayte was the carrier of the genetic condition. You never know. Plus with all the medical technology and testing out there now, it is sometimes possible for couples who carry genetic disorders to have a healthy baby.
Naming the album Xpectation, 9 tracks (months), baby cries at the end. Could be Prince's way of announcing that he and Mani are expecting their first child. He certainly didn't make any big announcement about their marriage. He only told a local news reporter, so who knows. On the other hand, Prince DOES refer to his songs as his children, so that could be the meaning. The bigger question is why do some people get so mad when someone brings up the question. Wondering if a couple is xpecting is not like saying mean things about them or dragging their name through the mud.

You're SUCH an expert... Do the research for yourself if you want, but I will tell you that I am correct. Here is how I know this. Almost immediately after the baby had died and I learned that it had been inflicted with Pfeiffer's syndrome I was assigned a research paper on a medical infliction for one of my college classes. Being a HUGE Prince fan back then I figured I would take a look into Pfeiffer's syndrome to try to figure out exactly what happened to the baby. So in short I did A LOT of research on Pfeiffer's Syndrome and talked to 3 different doctors to organize my 10 page research project. So while this does not make me an expert on the subject it certainly makes me more of an expert on the subject then the average person on the org. . Okay I am just going to tell you what I can remember off the top of my head. It's a medical infliction where the skull doesn't grow properly. Typically it's not a fatal disease, but people who are inflicted with it have very hard lives which involve many operations to relieve the pressure on the brain and blindness and deafness. Plus they never look like normal people because of the facial disfigurement involved with the disease. It's a very rare disease which only effects something like 1 in a 125,000. When I was doing research on it (mind you this was like 5 years ago) the one thing that really struck me is that often carriers of the gene are abnormally short with an oversized head. Sounds like Prince to me. What this means that Prince COULD be a carrier of the gene, but does not himself suffer from the condition. But obviously we do not know this for a fact as Prince has never discussed this subject. I hope I helped, but I am going to move onto something a little less depressing now.

Get over yourself. | |

Pfeiffer Syndrome
Pfeiffer syndrome, like the other craniosynostotic syndromes, is caused by a genetic mutation. The physical manifestations of this syndrome match those of Crouzons and include broad thumbs and toes. Characteristics: Pfeiffer's Syndrome patients have the following abnormalities: Craniosynostosis most often of the coronal and lambdoid, and occasionally sagittal sutures Underdeveloped midface with receded cheekbones or exophthalmos Ocular Proptosis which is a prominence of the eyes due to very shallow orbits. The patient may have crossed eyes and/or wide-set eyes. Broad thumbs and big toes. Some other features commonly seen in these patients are visual disturbances related to an imbalance of the muscle that move the eyes and hearing loss due to recurrent ear infections. The mental capacity of Pfeiffer patients is usually in the normal range, however some mental delay has been reported. Causes: The cause of Pfeiffer syndrome, like many of the other syndromal craniosynostosis, has been found to be linked to a gene alteration. Most cases are sporadic and rare. Usually, the parents are not affected and the risk for future children of that couple is minimal. The offspring of an Pfeiffer patient have a 50-60% chance of inheriting the syndrome due to the dominant characteristics of this gene "not a fan"

The issue could be resolved by having Mani impregnated with sperm from a donor who resembles Prince. They could go to a fertility clinic and ask for healthy donor sperm from a short, fair skinned African-American man.
That way, when the baby is born, nobody would know that the child is not Prince's, biologically speaking.
