When you friend asks this, what CDs do u part with for a day or two, if u can go that long without ur Prince CDs. lol

I don't loan anyone anything, and I don't ask for it either. We've all had friends who have lost things or destroyed it or messed them up. I just refuse to loan anything out anymore. No books, no CDs, no DVDs, etc. If I have the MP3s, then I'll pass those along of course. But the physical stuff? Nope.

I think Purple Rain, SOTT Diamonds & Pearls, Gold Experience might be the only stand-alone albums to win over people as the mix is varied and easy

Especially with out of print material that cannot easily be replaced.
BUT...
I will always make copies to hook potential new fans.
What's a blank disc cost? A quarter?
Yeah, I'll make a mix or two if I think someone will wake up to the fact that Prince rules and maybe get them interested enough to go buy some CDs.

i hardly have any friends, but the ones i do have don't like prince

i lent my friend,cow-worker my SOTT cd....she gave it back 2 days later....its all good

i would lend them COME and hope they didnt give me it back .

In this day and age its very easy to get music. But i made a copy of the latest Prince cd 4 a friend of mine. I would rather her hear it like this rather than a crappy MP3 format.Plus,I love spreading the funk. i already have an idea that when Prince tours the US again,im gonna make a mix cd for my uncle so that he will take me. I picked out the track list and everything.

I don't borrow or loan. Its the best way to remain friends.
