The song," ALL THE CRITIC'S LOVE U IN NEW YORK," in its original form was featured on the Warner Brothers 1983 album," 1999." If you do not own a copy of it.....you are missing out on something very special. My advice go and get any PRINCE album that you can get your hands on because they are all good.

OR All the Critics Love U in London It'll always be New York as far as I'm concerned. The original is one of my absolute favorites, a brilliant commentary offered up on a breakthrough album. It's genius. Changing it to match the place he's performing cheapens it, imho. I love the musical performances of the song's resurrection, but not the title change. | |
