The above period just "summarize", best concerts I have ever attended (between I had the chance to see many: one Italian girl pretended that it was her 434 time….)! The first of course during the Parade era, and second from yesterday: what a night! Unbelievable, but I was in front of the scene: I was a kind of VIP. Set list was put on the ground, so I could even see when the concert was supposed to end. Normally "3121" was the last song written, but of course "Purple Rain" was added. This concert was much more appreciated compared to the ones at The Grand Palais (I found that set list was quite same as songs sung during O²). It was funny to see that Prince wore a "Purple Rain" shirt (in his back, you could see the picture). Sound was much better of course that in The Grand Palais (beautiful monument from the twentieth century: not meant for such event). It lasted around 2h30, it was worth to pay 80 €…..Prince used to say that in America, people used to dislike his music…and that he would like to live in France…
The gig took place in a small venue very famous in Paris: La Cigale, place where I went to see Wendy And Lisa in 1989…..

There actually is a post here on the org where people put there shows that they attended, it varies quit a lot. I can't remember how many times I've been to a Prince show, but it am quit sure it nears 70 shows since summer 1986, Ahoy Rotterdam, till last sunday, the second show.

I agree, it sounds unbelievable, but I have seen her EVERY single time in the O2 and Indigo2 of all the 13 times I was there in 2007. So my bet is, she's telling the truth!

Oh, and we have a nickname for her too! G.I. Jane!

Last night at La Cigale was AWESOME! I think anyone who gets to the front feels like a VIP, I certainly do
