Remember that rumour that Prince destroyed a song called Wally, destroyed the master tape? Supposedly that song was some great masterpiece or so said Susan Rogers. I just listened to Mama, the piano song on Intimate Moments bootleg and thought, ya know, maybe Prince renamed the song Wally and released it with full instrumentation. I can't prove it, but since Mama was just Prince screwing around, it's possible. There are crazier rumours..lol

I doubt Susan Rogers ever heard the bootleg. I could be right..wink.

What makes you think that? I mean, we could say Wally ended up being "Dance 4 Me" if we're just guessing.

Prince said to erase the original, and she tried to get him to rethink it. He insisted that she hit RECORD over it, or he would. I believe she let him do it.

"Wally" was rerecorded for archiving and posterity sake, but the original was taped over and thereby destroyed. Susan could have the rerecorded version.

So really....the theory you stated is not possible.
