Crimson and Clover: ASCAP..?? Why is Prince creditted as the songwriter of Crimson And Clover when you go to his list of songs ( http://www.ascap.com/ace/...20&start=1 )? Did he write another song with the same title, or what?
And can anyone post the album credits to the Lotusflow3r set PLEASE..?? | |

Its a remake he didn't write it. Joan Jett did a cover version as well Smurf theme song-seriously how many fucking "La Las" can u fit into a dam song

Well, since it's a fact that Prince didn't write Crimson and Clover. This means
that ASCAP's listing is in error and somebody somewhere has made a mistake. Either ASCAP themselves made an error with the data entry (unlikely). Or Prince's submission for the Lotusflow3r set didn't credit the writers for this song (far more likely). So either Prince, or someone in his employ didn't give the right info to ASCAP. | |

This I noticed:
333 . IRRESISTIBLE CHICK (damn you larry) 422 . MUPPETS TONIGHT (do what?) 578 . SONG EXAMPLE (  )

That would not make the song HIS. It is a mistake. The list has several mistakes and omissions. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

There are credits for the online downloads though... but of course, the downloads don't include Crimson And Clover. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
