She said she was from N.O. at the lake scene. "I was speaking for myself". That's called projecting. However, she never did anything untrustworthy in the movie. She got hit, she didn't get hit. She trusted in The Kid, and he pissed on her more than once or twice. (Hell, there's probably a missing golden shower scene somewhere.) What's worse is that after all the abuse she suffers at The Kid's hand, it seems she is going to go back to him. Battered-wife syndrome, anyone?  The first thing she did was stiff the cab driver wasn't it?
True her actions didn't warrant the wrath from the Kid, but that opening scene alone tells me there was more to her character that we missed due to poor editing or (more likely) these characters were poorly constructed in which case character analysis and these arguments are a waste of time. |
