Whether Prince is bi/gay/or straight is irrelevant really. His sexuality has always been questionable to all but the the most devout and...erm... enthusiastic fan.

But one thing has always been indisputable: Throughout phases of Prince's career, he's been a huge advocate of freedom of expression and the pursuit of happiness as one sees fit. The Prince of the mid to late 80's very much was about acceptance yourself and everyone getting along.

When asked what Prince thought about people thinking that he was gay by Oprah, he responded, "hey.. whatever peanut butters the jelly" or something to that affect. he went further to say that he doesn't think God judges in that manner.

These are all indications that (up until recently), Prince seems to have been very much supportive of different levels of expression.



So I got to thinking. Being that he's been known for making enormous donations without any fanfare or advertisement, has Prince ever donated to or performed for LGBT groups?
