I can't tell the content of it but there is a subject about the record labels and I want Prince for an interview . I know he don't do interviews a lot but I think he might be interested in this . Is there no management for Prince ? That's almost impossible because how can you book Prince for a concert ? Who's fixing everything ? There should be someone who's responsible for all of this . I don't see Prince calling venues to ask if he can perform ..

I think your best bet would be to contact the Paisley Park recording studio

Perhaps if you're going to propose yourself as a filmmaker/journalist/interviewer, you should get a better grip on the difference between "he doesn't", and "he don't". He's less likely to laugh at you that way.

Apart from the rare private party for major cash, you don't book him ... he books you. There should be someone who's responsible for all of this . I don't see Prince calling venues to ask if he can perform ..
He'll gets someone close to dial the number for him. In Paris this week, he attended the venue he's playing today, he liked the look of it, he got it organised. I know he don't do interviews a lot but I think he might be interested in this .
If Prince wants to appear in a documentary, he books someone to make the documentary he wants, and then it might not be released. (Ask Kevin Smith). . [Edited 10/11/09 11:38am] ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

I think I heard the William Morris Agency represents him, but I'm not sure on that.
You can always try calling L. Londell McMillian.

No one got owned. You think an accent mark over a letter is OWNING someone? Get a life. And whether I'm fat or not....you'll always be a prick. You lose.

I don't see Prince calling venues to ask if he can perform .. it's not impossible. prince hasn't had a manager for many years, he doesn't want a manager either. he is in the fortunate position to pull off deals without a manager taking a cut. of recent years AEG have done deals directly with him for the larger gigs like the o2 and LA earlier this year, but he uses another agent for smaller gigs such as his private gigs prince usually does what he wants to do and gets it arranged himself. he must get many offers all the time, such as to play glastonbury or coachella where he can get 2 to 4 million a gig. in the last few years of the few interviews has has done, such as tavis smiley, he expressed an interest in appearing and made the arrangements himself. i doubt very much he would be interested in doing an interview with an unknown. usually if you prove yourself and prince is interested, he will contact you. the only documentaries that prince has participated in have been his own, and only one of them was ever released/shown (two different edited versions, plus a third shortened version were shown) and the bbc omnibus special was based on footage from these but had no direct input such as an interview from prince. his last documentaries have never seen the light of day and may not have been completed, so you probably have a better chance of getting michael jackson in your interview than prince btw prince hasn't used londell for years (he is busy with the jackson family at the moment), and dr funkenberry isn't exactly an associate of prince, he's a fan who has a celebrity based internet blog. prince will either contact you, or the people who need to contact him known how to get in touch

true, but it is pretty clear when an endeavor such as this would be a waste of one's time...

One can certainly "try" to get somewhere, but they'd have just as much luck trying to give him a demo. Just being realistic, is all. I agree with you -it is time for a change, but that apparently doesn't apply in the purple world.
