Prince Fans/Residents in Charlotte NC From 1999 to the present, how many times has Prince played in Charlotte?
I think that it has been twice, but I don't remember the years. Do you think that he will again perform in Charlotte? If no, why?

I use to live in NC and even though it's beautiful that's about it but hoping you get a chance to see him again

Once since the year 1999 (as opposed to the song / album)
Six times in Prince's career http://www.princevault.co...ng_America 25 April 1980 - Charlotte Coliseum 27 November 1981 - Charlotte Coliseum 26 November 1982 - Charlotte Coliseum 24 September 1988 - Charlotte Coliseum 2 August 1997 - Charlotte Coliseum 26 November 2000 - Independence Arena . (BTW Charlotte Coliseum and Independence Arena are the same venue - it just changed its name - known as something different again today) [Edited 10/8/09 11:54am] ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

I went to the last 2 concerts. The 1997 concert was where the Hornets used to play. The 2000 concert was in Charlotte's old coliseum. The Independence is now Bojangle's Coliseum and the Charlotte Coliseum was demolished in 2007. [Edited 10/8/09 14:31pm] Do U Lie?

Thanks for correcting - the Bojangles website seemed to suggest that it was the old Charlotte Coliseum. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.
