Prince CD's that sound bad or need 2 be Remastered?

Ive been listening to sum cds on my HDTV and i noticed on some that sum tracks are louder or turned down on some of the songs. Purple Rain sounds amazing to me. But 1999 and SOTT have low volume compared to Lotus. As for my Parade cd,everything sounds ok until KISS is played,that song has EXTREMELY LOW volume. im starting to think i got a bad copy or sumthin. Now,these are not downloads or MP3 they are official cds ordered from Amazon.com. has anyone had a similar experience or is it just my ear's?

Your TV is the problem. When I play my old CDs on my 52" HDTV they sound spanking new biggrin

What screen resolution are you playing them in? Are you upconverting to 1080p?

Everyone knows CDs sound better in 720p.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

pretty much EVERYTHING from For You to Emancipation needs to be remastered. BADLY. but i've given up hope that will ever happen while Prince is walking the earth.

Play them in a Blu-Ray player @ 720p in HD and they sound even BETTER!

The fan remasters floating around the net actually sound dramatically improved from the originals (SOTT, black album, LoveSexy).


So yes, I'm really hoping some official remasters are released.
