It makes no sense but in all those years I have heard Prince singing "Turn down these horses inside my head" - today I was listening to Emancipation on my iPod and at the end I heard Prince singing "Turn down these voices inside my head".

I then checked the lyrics... damn how silly of me.

I know Bonnie Raitt wrote it, but I think I prefer Prince's cover version.

Its VOICES not HORSES!!!!!

Original is the best..Prince's cover is good, but the "plastic" production kills the song for me..

I can't remember the original by Bonnie Raitt.. I have only heard it once or twice....

I can't listen to the song...

in my opinion, George Michael > Prince > Bonnie.
George Michaels version is alot more honest and heartfelt where as Prince turns it into another sex song.

i love this version. not just because it is Prince but because of the emotion behind the words.

I thought he sang Horses for a long time too...

Anyway I love that song. It's a song you don't get tired of hearing. Beautifully done by Prince.

Loretta Divine (Dreamgirls) sang this beautifully the other night. I'd forgotten how great that song is, bittersweet.

Love Bonnie's version Like Prince's. Beautiful song indeed.

It's a timeless song, I'd love to hear Prince's version, I have before but I want to again

I prefer George Michael's over Bonnie or Prince.

I love Prince's version of it. Bonnie's version got me interested, but Prince sealed the deal. I think Boyz II Men even did a version of it. Everybody wants to try to sing it seems like. Very powerful song.
