Willy Wonka Hi All,
Last year at Xenophobia, during an intermission or something, the dj played a live cover by Prince of a song from the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, "There's No Place I Know." Does anyone know where this could have come from or have any other information about it (time period, tour, venue, etc.)? Thanks! The message you're about to hear is not meant for transmission

The song title is actully "Pure Imagination". Did he really play a version of this recorded by Prince? Was it a live take or a studio thing?

Who Can Make The Sun Shine? Sprinkle It With Dew? Cover It With Sprinkles And A Miracle Or 2 THE CANDYMAN! The CANDYMAN Can...Sammy,we Love ya...!! Do I hear Herbie Honkin his Horn? Was that around 1968? Or was it the 70's? Wasn't Sly and Larry digging it on the radio back then? By the way I hear what they call the Golden Oldies on CBS FM in N.Y.

I'm an adult and I still love this movie. If you have kids and they haven't seen it, rent the video.

is Prince really a Oompa Loompa gone astray? They had mad rhyming skills, bet they could play piano too.
