I once knew a Prince freak who treasured that crapfest. I asked him why & he said, "because it's Prince's sister!"
Me: "But is it any good?" Him: "NO, it's shit! But it's his sister. Me: :O And then I walked away... QUICKLY! What prompted people to buy it? Did you hear something from it that you liked? Or was it just b/c it's Prince's sister?? I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it

Have this on vinyl with a press kit inside. Forgot I had it, forgot to ever play it. Remember I have no desire to.

My brother bought it when it first came out and played it a lot(for some strange reason) he finally came to his senses about a year later. God, I hated that album, I would dread having to come home and hear my brother play it over & over & over & over & over...
Especially since my room was next to his. ~KiKi

Once again, my brother bought it, played it and I hated it. My brother was one of those people who would buy anything (and I do mean anything) that had to do with Prince. The only albums I've ever bought that were by artists associated with Prince were Wendy & Lisa's. I am guitly of buying Mayte & carmen's albums, though. ~KiKi

As much as I hate to admit it, back in the '80's, I was buying anything and everything that had to do with Prince's protegee's and band members... just because they were associated with Prince. Of all of them, the only ones that I thought were any good were Sheila E, early Time stuff, and Jesse Johnson. The Andre Cymone album 'AC' was really only good because of the fact that Prince wrote and was on 'Dance Electric'. Other then that, everything else didn't even come close to measuring up to Prince (mind you the first Mazarati lp wasn't that bad.) I think the last offspring of Prince recording I bought was Carmen Electra and aside from the fact that you could audibly hear Prince in the background, it itself wasn't even really worth it. Tyka, well 'yes' I bought hers and listened to it once. Then I forced myself to listen to it again... stress the word forced. They may have a similar genetic make-up but there is only one Prince. I think that I was expecting too much from her lp which wasn't fair to her as an artist. I wonder what she's doing now and what she looks like? Anyone know?

Hmmm. I have this CD. Though, I haven't listened to it in awhile, reading this post I pulled it out. I enjoyed it back in the day and it continues to sound good to me now. This is a CD women in particular can relate and feel good listening to. To really enjoy it though, you need to know about the two and four. Just my 2 cents worth.

ame for me, except I stopped with before Carmen. I also have an album on Paisley Park from around 88/89 maybe! it's a duo called "Good Question" it's awfull as is Tyka's "Royal Blue" I haven't heard anything else by her but that album is just really poor, same goes for Appolonia's solo attampt.
