i've seen this mentioned in connection with the recent download of empty room? what exactly was prince's contribution to this project, was this the movie starring nick nolte, or something completely different?

oh, if i only had my copy of turn it up 2.0 by my side... the only thing is that i can name some of the songs: "wow", "be my mirror", and uhh...man, my mind's on the fritz...

I have a CD called 'PLATINUM',and the notes inside read,:
Tracks 1-9 from the 'I'll Do Anything'sessions.The film starring Nick Nolte and 5 year old Whittini Wright,was first cut as a musical with music from o(+>,Sinead O'Connor and Carole King.It was set for a November 1993 release.After some test screenings with very bad results,it was clear that the musical didn't work.Director James L. Brooks chose to cut away all the singing scenes,and the film was finally released in 1994.'
