Does any one else love it? I love the video too, the gold confetti, the gold statues, the love symbol in the background. The song is amazing. I just love the lyrics, the singing, the guitar solo, the keyboards. Am I the only one who loves this song? I feel like it.

I like the song, but I prefer the two unreleased versions on The Work, Vol. 8 to the official one. The Gold Experience would be one of my favorite albums of his if so many of the songs on it weren't so overproduced. As with Endorphinemachine, Now, and TMBGITW, there are too many bells and whistles going on in Gold. But the song at its core is great.

That solo in that song is probably his best solo since The Scandalous Sex Suite, or Let's Go Crazy. It's one that has feeling, soul, and if his heart was a guitar solo, it'd be that solo. It was the climax of his fight w/ WB, his yearning to do what he wanted, and WHEN, as an artist. That could have been the last Prince song ever released, and I'd have been quite content.

Actually, thinking about it, it's probably his last GGRREEAATT song released to date. I can't think of anything that stands up to it.
