What Was So Bad About Batman(Album) I'm feeling this album,well just "Scandalous","Lemon Crush" and "Partyman". I'm also in love with the theme of the album,and Prince look. Why did this album only get an of average 3 stars?

It was and still is the most blatantly /deliberate commercialized Prince album. If you look at the 8 years worth of albums that preceded it, it was a HUGE letdown.
With that being said, it had some interesting moments and one truly regrettable one ( The Arms of Orion). "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish." | |

I love "The Future" "Electric Chair" & "Batdance" The rest of the tracks point in the direction he would hold firm through most of the90's, dumbed down kiddie pop like "Lemon Crush" and "Partyman" gave us an early peek at the Prince that was to come the following year and throughout the the following decades. I like it and hold it in higher regard than all his 90's work. | |
