cool When I hear stuff like this, I think maybe Prince re-recording every single album (the so called new masters) might actually not sound too shabby after all... wowsers, that was just a rehearsal.

I was told this was a rehearsal. I also found that the song is not as energetic, almost semi-violent as it sounded in the old days.
But it is the rehearsal thing I was explained.

update:

i drove by paisley yesterday and saw a bunch of cars in the back lot. all the gates are closed to give the illusion that no one is there...but i saw people entering into the back lot. looked like bodyguards/sound guys.

nothing exciting, but still glad to see activity there!!
