Was nowhere near as bad as the god awful reviews made it out to be….


Yes it was flawed but I liked the old school style of it, The fact Prince had a good sense of humor in it although the scene where he was in the tub with the cowboy hat was kind of weird at first lol

Did anyone else like the movie?

It seriously is one of my favourite movies. I'm not kidding. And it's not because I'm so much into Prince that I have to love everything he does and it's also not because I'm an idiot.

I loved this movie and thought it was funny as all heck. I especially liked all the French clothing and the style. It was just so cool. I really enjoyed it.

I only wish the film had been in CO LOR !

It's such a shame I can't get this movie on the dvd here in Czech Republic.. Well..I guess I'll watch the Purple Rain again instead

I didn't like the movie (P seemed like he was playing a character written for Morris) but the soundtrack is one of my favourite P albums.

Its not bad, it's lost some of it's appeal for me as my eyes have been opened more and more as Prince has gradually annoyed memore over the years.

It's very quotable and funny... Which is probably why The Wedding Crashers ripped it off

the 1st big mistake was not including band performances, that was the success of Purple Rain: Sheila E Jill Jones & the Family should have been in there with Mazarati in the background. Would have given the protege bands exposure, would have broadend the fan base, and given the movie another level of energy

The clothing was unique and very chic yet still similar to the punk renaissance feel of Purple Rain

I think the movie "Under the Cherry Moon" is a very enjoyable movie. I looove that it´s filmed in black and white. The movie is very funny! And it´s beautiful. The plot is not that bad, compaired to a lot of movies these times. I totally like it!

Some of the directing is off.... Like mary's party there's a much needed sense of direction lol and Jerome look's into the camera twice!


But i mean some people we're making this movie out to be as bad as Graffiti Bridge!

But I Wish Prince could have gotten a good director and made another movie i think he's a pretty good actor he has the presence.....

Shining Morris's shoes in PR And putting Rose Peddals in Prince's Bath water in Moon? and get's Mary taken away
