Playlists needed I am looking for some playlists to put on my iPod for when I drive. I am looking for groups of 10-12 songs that any orger thinks would make a good list. These don't have to be (and shouldn't be) your top 10, rather a handful of songs that together make a good play list. All suggestions welcome. I abdicated the throne in Ithaca, but now I am...

Find one or two songs that you like, then click the GENIUS button in iTunes. 98% of the time, the playlists it comes up with (based on what's in your library) is spot on. You can refresh it to get a new listing based on a song. You can save that Genius playlist and sync it to your iPod.

It's a pain in the butt. but the playlist request is obviously for djs. I make playlists of genres and moods only. I use it on my AppleTV a lot, and save playlists. I think they're spot on when I do them.

It's dumb to put ballads on a roadtrip playlist. Keep it mid-tempo or upbeat.

I wouldn't call what I do taking road trips. I drive 15 minutes at a time about 3 times a day, so a 40-45 minute mix is perfect, no matter what is on it. I abdicated the throne in Ithaca, but now I am...
