When I went back and read Blackguitaristz's thread on "All The Hippes" I immediately though of this song. So she appeals to white people?

Amazing groove anyways, and keep the rape section in it. Anyone have any stories of how people have reacted when they first heard the end? I showed my friends. Bricks were shat!!

I can dig it as well. There is certainly nothing wrong with praying. I think that the "Don't make me rape u" AND "Dez, don't u like my band? bit had a lot to do with why P didn't release this. I've read where the song was originally written for Vanity 6's second album as well. Like "No Call U". IF he hadn't included the part about Dez not digging his band, it would have been a cool b-side to Little Red Corvette. It certainly would have been better than a b-side like "Horny Toad". He could have also edited out the part about Dez since Dez was still in the band, although he was on his way out after the 1999 tour. The "Don't make me rape u" bit, hell, P could have easily left that in. It certainly would have fit in line with the rest of the somewhat violent imagery of certain elements of the 1999 album. I just don't think P was that on fire about the track overall to include it on the album. But again, it would have been a great b-side. Would have loved to have had this as a 12' inch. Also, parts of this has always reminded me of Mazarati's "Strawberry Lover", another song that I ADORE. Maybe that's why P namechecks Brown Mark's name in this more than anybody else's in the song.

I'm not quite sure what our Little Prince was thinking when he included these verses. Like today, and even back then, rape wwas/is the ugliest 4 letter word. Swearing is one thing and is easier to accept.

Anyway, as far as Dez, Dez had been wanting to do his own thing pretty much as soon as he was in P's band. He had a gig at First Ave as a solo artist back in 81 with his own band , the whole 9. He was going to try to do both. Plus P knew that Dez wasn't going to stick around for too much longer. So that's what that line is about somewhat, I think.

i agree!!! this is my absolute favorite unreleased track! an ultimate jam.

Though i hate to say it ,it will never see the light of day. as good as this shit is if it doesn't fall in with his current religeous beliefs he won't release it.

I've never heard this song...always at least one purple tear when these unreleased tracks are mentioned.

I don't believe P was crazy for "not" releasing Extra Lovable, those who know about it and want it, have it.
