PrintableOf course Tony M. can't rap, and lyricwise its a very silly song, but there are definitely Prince songs that are even worse (Da da da, Mr Goodnight, Chocolate Box, to name a few).
Its just a simple silly fun-song. I think it has a nice playfull 'bounce' and i dig his use of vocal samples as a bass-line (something he did before on Partyman). Its not a song I put on when i want to listen to what i really dig in 'Prince music', but i also dont skip it when i listen to the D&P CD. He has done far worse IMO. | |
