Why do U think that Prince is both excited and reserved in this song?

With all of the emotion that Prince has delivered in his song, this song seems to hesitate on a lover's meeting. "4Ever," seems to have that same notion...When Prince sings, "If I don't get to make U laugh...If we don't get to take a bubblebath..."

What's going on inside of Prince that brings him to write these lyrics?

Tame I think sometimes a person like you needs to interview Prince and ask him these questions. We all wanna know. I love these songs as well. I wish he would do a slow love song album nothing but ballads for his lady love. He could call the album LOVE.

As I have said many times before....the songs talk about him knowing her and for some reason or another they lost touch with one another like maybe they met before he got married and she is now taken and that is why he says in songs make up your mind. As for the Bria thing I don't think that cd is about him and her but if prince wrote the songs it's him all the way he just didn't feel safe singing them because of his religous thoughts. I think the soul mate in ? doesn't let them pennies bother her I think she rolls with the times and knows that if she showed up they would have to scatter. I hope the next time he sees her he says something and isn't to shy to speak because if she is a woman of virture shes not going to force herself on him at least not until he makes it clear that shes the one. On the other hand Prince could just be making this all up in his head and doesn't have intrest in a soulmate or he could marry Bria or some other lady. Who knows with Prince who knows?

I also feel Prince doesn't want her HERE because he knows all the things they will have to deal with. Prince may not want their true love to be analyzed by his fans.
