Why do U think that Prince is both excited and reserved in this song? With all of the emotion that Prince has delivered in his song, this song seems to hesitate on a lover's meeting. "4Ever," seems to have that same notion...When Prince sings, "If I don't get to make U laugh...If we don't get to take a bubblebath..." Maybe he hesitates as I do at posting my feelings;

My thoughts..
Prince thinks and dreams of doing all these beautiful things with his soul mate, knowing that he doesn't have it right now and is kinda wishing he did. He comes to the conclusion, that he is not going to worry about it for now, he has faith that it will happen in time. No matter the time, now or in eternity. Meanwhile, he has wonderful things he can do to pre-occupy his time, and he will keep looking forward and continue to dream about the day when he and his soul mate are joined together 4ever. He is giving it up to his Lord, and has faith that it will come in time. I beleive it will for him too. May all your dreams come true Prince. I so love this song..... My heart is huge, filled with the love of my faith, family and friends, but the actual beat of my heart.........that's Prince!

Tame I think sometimes a person like you needs to interview Prince and ask him these questions. We all wanna know. I love these songs as well. No other woman but Bria Valente could trust that Prince loved them. I don't know why Prince keeps his listeners in suspense.
