he is DEFINITELY underrated as a pianist. Most people think of guitar as his signature instrument, but damn... the man is terrific on the keys.
Does anybody know if he plays the piano part on F.U.N.K.? That song just rocks all the way around and i love the piano in it. * * *

Condition of the Heart I agree with KCOOLMUZIQ. He's a much better keyboardist than guitar player, great little hooks with synthsizers that make the difference between a good composition and a great song. That said, he's even a better slap-bassist...great, unique and minimalistic style. | |

Lovesexy Tour - I actually went to that concert when it came to NY. The piano segment was very impressive. I didn't realize how well he played until I saw him live. He played a bunch of tunes but he never finished a song he just mixed them together. It was a great performance. Wikipedia: The highlight of many shows was the piano medley in the second act, often featuring "When 2 R in Love", "Venus de Milo", "Starfish and Coffee", "Raspberry Beret", and "Condition of the Heart".
