The Greatest Prince Songs of all time Im not gonna feel this empty room! So lets fill her up!!
The greatest prince songs of all time!!! Lets list those songs that never die, the songs that we will be listening 2 in 10, 20, 30 yrs time, first starting with the general public and then the fams: - The Masses 1 Purple Rain 2 The Most Beautiful Girl in the World 3 Nothing Compares 2 U 4 Kiss 5 When Doves Cry 6 How come U dont Call me anymore 7 I would die 4 u 8 Gett Off 9 Cream 10 Raspberry Beret The Fams (imo) (in no particular order) 1 Adore 2 Joy in repitition 3 The Question of U 4 The Ballad of Dorothy Parker 5 The Holy River 6 Empty Room 7 Moonbeam Levels 8 Sometimes it Snows in April 9 Anna Stesia 10 The Beautiful Ones Its actually quite amazing how this has happened i dont think there r many artists who's appeal is different amongst the fams than it is to the general public! I totally prefer the second list!

Prince's was a b-side, and not of the same commercial appeal as an "Erotic City." Its actually quite amazing how this has happened i dont think there r many artists who's appeal is different amongst the fams than it is to the general public! I totally prefer the second list!
It's not uncommon that anyone who gains mass commercial acceptance would eventually have hardcore fans who hold the less popular songs in higher esteem. Rolling Stones' fans generally dig "Satisfaction" less than other Stones' songs, Springsteen fans generally dig "Born In The USA" and/or "Dancing In The Dark" less than his lesser known songs. It's probably the same way for Michael Jackson fans. And I think it has more to do with familiarity breeding contempt than the quality of the song, most times. blah, blah, yada, blahhhh [This message was edited Mon Jan 6 18:20:58 PST 2003 by Supernova] This post not for the wimp contingent. I would admire anyone who could narrow their list of favorites down to a few. I've tried many times over the years and have failed miserably everytime.
