No. You gotta send that shit to Ohio.

The Ways of the Pharaoh
PO BOX 169
Vermilion, OH
44089-0169

In addition 2 the list above, we r gathering 2gether all Prince bootlegs. Send them 2 the same address.

All member info will kept confidential. Ur help is greatly appreciated.

Even if that email supposedly came from the NPG Music Club, I would NEVER send anything to that address. Sounds too much like a scam to get people's music. I would have needed proof that the NPG Music Club was based out of "Ohio" for some reason. Still, there's no fun in sending in my stuff to some PO Box.

I would rather make it more dramatic and bring it right in to Paisley Park. Remember, its not illegal to own un-official media. It's just illegal to distribute/sell/make it. Unless they consider dropping it off as illegal, who knows???

If Prince WAS there at the time, maybe he would give me a tour of Paisley Park or something (for my new honesty ofcourse) and I would just have to sit through one of his speeches about the JW. Then he'll ask me to join the band, become famous and condemn all those who bootleg his music... hehehe lol
I JUST CAN'T STOP WRITIN' SONGS ABOUT YA'...

I had this idea a minute ago while going through my Prince collection and feeling guilty...

What if I flew to Minnesota and drove to Chanhassen and dropped-off all my un-official Prince CD's, DVD's & Vinyl at Paisley Park's front desk wrapped up in a box like a present (with a bow, purple wrapping paper and a tag in the shape of the Prince Love Sign) which read "Dear Prince, I'm Sorry, my phone-number".

WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN?

I only own "Yellow," I'd never get rid of it, and I've never shared it either...I've been the only person to hear this cd.

I would honestly hold onto the stuff...keep it in a private place, and write to this Ohio address and ask them if you should. Otherwise it's best that somebody that loves Prince would protect the music sharing that pulls the rug out from underneathe his artistry. cool

Y'know, really... so what?!? Political correctness has brought us to the point where people think they have a right to never be offended, and, well, we don't. In fact, in a free society with freedom of speech you can pretty much guarantee that everyone will be offended by somebody or something. So, you know, not to diss you personally or anything, but we shouldn't bend over backwards trying to never hurt anybody's feelings.
There, rant over, feeling better.... biggrin

the secretary will thank u, and when you walk out take your box, put it in her trunk and laugh about it all weekend as she listens to your collection. Prince, somewhere in Amsterdam will never hear of it, nor you LOL. The next time you see him on TV doing an interview he'll be babbling about how he KNOWS nobody who illegally obtained his music really cares, and if they did they would give him back what is rightfully his LOL.You will take out a sawed of shotgun and shoot your TV elvis style.

Thanks for the laugh. biggrin

And to make one more point of the subject, I think it's hilarious that Prince wanted people to give him something for nothing. That sense of entitlement just blows me away. Boots generally costs double the price of a regular cd, why would anyone give it to him for free?

Y'all are some crazy motherfuckers over in this section. lol Who gives a damn whether or not Prince approves of unofficial stuff or not? Start worrying about what you approve of. Prince ain't God and he's not even someone that you know personally. He's an entertainer on a record for your enjoyment. And I thought Michael Jackson fans were crazy. lol
