Rave n2 the joy fantastic

Every time i listen to this cd, it reminds me of Prince saying at the concert, "My Puerto rican princess don't love me no more".There is so many songs on the cd that seems to have been written for Mayte. Man of War,silly game, i don't trust you anymore, whereever you go.
Does anyone else feel this way?
y should eye do that...when eye can do this....

It's not a case of "feeling this way" - it's pretty well established that much of this album is about his breakup with Mayte and their divorce.

But the song Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic was inspired by this (RULegalYet) Anna Fantastic (seen in the Party Man video)

written with/during the Lovesexy band, performed during a Lovesexy aftershow

I thought it was pretty obvious that a lot of the Rave album was a big kiss off toward her.

I need to give this album a spin, it's been a while. I love "The Greatest Romance Ever Sold"...
