Nothing scarey about it. Kinda haunting in a few parts. Prince has such passion from 3:24 to 4:45.  No matter your age, pursue your dreams so that you will LIVE. | |

I would agree that it is probably my favorite Prince song but I totally disagree about it having the best Prince bridge ever....

i can't jugde about the best bridge as I don't know all of his music.
This song though is perfect. It's a song where I totally get into the screaming frantic part at the end. It gives me a similar trip to "Watch closely now" by Barbara Streisand from A star is born. Unbelievable song. Certainly my fav P song, in fact my fav song ever! It terms of just raw unbridled passion and emotion it's an unrivaled performance. The way p screams at the end has been known to reduce many a grown man to tears.
Also really appreciated your choice of other songs that come close - I think those other songs also have pasion, pain, sensitivy and sweetness to them. Great thread! | |
