While Controversy is a great tune, Dirty Mind does it for me. However if this thread was with regards to the albums as a whole, I really couldn't choose! 3121 | |

i think Controversy the song and Album are vastly superior to Dirty Mind (not totake anything away from Dirty Mind). But Controversy just has better songs than Dirty Mind (Controversy, Sexuality, Do me baby, Privae Joy, Ronnie Talk to Russia, Lets Work, Annie Christian). Those are all top top notch songs. And his songwriting was just getting so much better. This was the begining of his stride. Dirty Mind was good but the songs just aren't quite as good.
On a side note, Why you wanna treat me so bad is probably one of the best Prince pop songs- keyword pop. | |
