ONA Live is hope for better future. Finally got to hear ONA Live and I got to say that it is an amazing listening experience. The album is easily his best live work, rivalling any of his bootlegs. Great, commanding music all around; and the piano sitdown is worth the price of admission; and Joy In Repetition is just mind boggling! A much more joyous soulfull version, than even the GB version.
Hoping this signals a future of better music; since I hated both Rave and TRC. Also, it was good to hear the Rainbow Children cuts played with more bold aploom on the live disk. I bet Prince was embarrased by TRC, by the changes. Hope the next real album will rival, SOTT, not be worse than Chaos And Disorder. All you others say Hell Yea!!

I doubt Prince was embarassed by TRC, since the whole first disc is pretty much devoted to it.
The thing I like about TRC is the music flows freely, but I had a feeling it would sound even better live, and I was right.

Have you noticed that Prince always seemd to do some jazz/instrumental stuff when he's done his best work?
