Londell McMillan on Tom Joyner Show about P

Tom Joyner asked Londell McMillan is he still working with Prince his response was always that will be his friend 4 life.

Tom then asked him. Why Prince never made a statement about MJ death? His response was Prince is very private and since they both were icons in the eighties at the same time period he has 2 b very careful what he says. Tom still said he finds that very odd. His side kick J Anthony made a joke saying maybe Prince hips r hurting too badly 2 respond...lol

I knew entertainment lawyers in NYC who were astonished that this guy got this gig for Prince. All he was really known for previously was suing the crap out of people, I was told.
They may have been just jealous.

Of all the questions Joyner could/should have asked?

I guess now we can understand why Prince did not make a comment.

The whole interview was basically about MJ's mother stake in the decisions of the MJ estate. At the very end of the interview was when Tom Asked Why Prince never made a statement. Since he knew Londell was very close to Prince.

I asked the same question initially, but looking back it was a good thing that Prince didn't say anything.

I still can't believe people are wondering why Prince didn't comment on something that has absolutely nothing to do with him! The utter nerve of him denying the public the chance to hear his every burp and cough!
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Londell seemed to have moved up the celebriladder pretty quickly. He went from his original host Prince, attached himself to Spike Lee and Producing Bamboozled. Now he's engorging himself on Jackson money.

He represented a lot of famous rappers and RnB singers, he´s pretty well known in the biz and appeared in a couple of magazines.

I actually heard the broadcast in question while it was live on air, and it really wasn't as big of a deal that (some) people are trying to make it out to be.

I thought Tom Joyner died? Guess not! I expected Prince to atleast acknowledge the passing of MJ. Kinda like he did with James Brown when he put his name and birth/death year on his site or how he paid tribute to Ray Charles during the Musicology tour. I guess with P u never know.... It's all good. At the very least we still got Prince to keep us entertained even though to compare him to MJ would be like comparing apples to oranges. They are both great entertainers in their own right.

Sounds like a round-about way of saying he's no longer Prince's attorney.

I don't think being Prince's lawyer is that great a gig.

I am sure it is a gig that pays and that is enough for most lawyers. When are you going to add something to this board meaningful.

Tom Joyner is dead but he hasn't realized it yet and will only find eternal peace when Prince comments upon his death! Until then he's cursed to haunt the airwaves asking totally irrelevant questions about insignificant topics.

Well I remember that question that Tom asked Prince when he was on his show during the Musicology release period. More of a statement to Prince that he thought that he was more apt to be accused of those charges than Michael Jackson to which Prince simply said Oh Yeah. It was a very bad moment that I think that Prince just let slide but he hasn't talked to Tom since then and probably never will.

Yeah, and Prince always pays his bills. Just ask Levi -- oh wait, he had to sue Prince and eventually had to settle out of court because Prince had drained him. Or let's ask those local businesses who never got paid.

Or, you know, READ the link I posted and notice how HIS LAWYER QUIT because working with Prince was a nightmare.

Look who's talking. I posted a FACTUAL STORY about one of Prince's lawyers, and YOU only came up with a bit of SPECULATION.

Londell has represented many celebrities before and since his partnership with Prince. He was Michael's lawyers for 3 years prior to his passing, so he's not engorging himself on anything. Katherine elected him to represent her and the family because she trusted him above all others.

Because it has nothing to do with Londell or Tom Joyner or Prince speaking about MJ's death. Your are that much of an idiot to not even see this.

First you do a wack ass cut and paste job on the Peach and Black topic to Blackguitarist and then you keep adding nonsense about what went on between P and WB back in the godamm 90's. Who the fuck cares about this anymore?

WB has not done shit sales wise since who knows when and P has pretty much turned his carreer around as much as he can given CD sales these days.

So what the hell is your point of coming to this board and reliving the 90s?

What is sad and disappointing is the mods allowing you to do it.

I find it hard to believe that "Death," in this world needs to be commented on. When it happens we all know what that means.

There is always a moment of silence at a funeral...Prince is known to be the quiet type unless it is about his music. cool
