Prince...tour already!

Imagine Prince released the LotusFlow3r set worldwide and properly, not through some stupid Target like deal, then toured and actually put something on that damn website of his that justifys the $77 fee. He'd be huge again. He'd be in music mags again. People would be interested again and he'd gain a new generation of fans. It just seems like he doesn't really give a shit about his work now. I'm not saying he doesn't but that's the way it comes across!

I know I can be very critical of Prince but it's because I want him to do well and get the recognition he deserves!

what do you get for the $77? I bet it is amazing stuff that you can't put a price on! Autographs, outtakes, tickets, inside info, videos and so much more. Please let us know what you get from that price because I stopped doing things like that when I subscribed to his magazine that stopped publishing after 4 issues and most of the friends I know stopped after the let down of the NPG ahdio shows abrupt end.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

Well after the success of "Musicology" would be 30th anniversary of "Purple Rain" in 2014. Here's why: Before Musicology the last really huge Prince US tour was "Purple Rain." For a lot of folks he was simply "Purple Rain" and he was basically gone for many years. Even though fans like myself have never stopped following him for the general public it was a "Prince Comeback."

Now, part of the success, I believe was BECAUSE he was out of the spotlight for soooo many years.

Don't give the masses too much, let them build a huge appetite.

Then hit it hard.

A few more years of absence would make a 30th anniversary tour that much bigger. Over the years Prince has demonstrated that he understands the value of NOT ALWAYS being in the spotlight. That's how he's sustained his longevity, I think.
