2. Come
3. The Gold Experience
4. Rave In2 the Joy Fantastic*
5. Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic

*For those that think it is cheating to count the remix album as a separate release, then I'll say my "real" #5 would be Emancipation. wink

1. diamonds and pearls
2. o(+>
3. The Hits/The B-sides... i didn't know the b-sides until they came out on disc3 of this compilation, for many people the b-sides were new cause they were for the first time ever on cd -they never had a turntable or vinyls- and the new songs Peach, Pink Cashmere, Nothing Compares 2 U, Pope, Power Fantastic and 4 the tears in your eyes (video version, finally released under tihs compilation) were the reason to buy the 3-cd set.
4. Come
5. Gold Experience
6. NPG-GoldNigga + NPG-Exodus
-Not necesarily in this particular order-
7. Crystal Ball (the songs contained that were recorded in the 90s + The Truth cd are my favorite part from this compilation, do the 80s songs in cds 1-3 count as "from the 90s" because they were released in the 90s? should we consider "recorded in the 90s" and also "released in the 90s", for example the Black album? )
8. Black Album (i know its from 1988, but i didn't listen to it until it was released, in 1994!)
9. The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale (can anyone please tell me the year each song from this cd was recorded? it doesn't say in the liner notes, i know the title track is from the 80s)
10. Girl 6 soundtrack cd--i love it for the 2 new songs She Spoke 2 Me + Don't Talk To Strangers (very similar to Sweet Baby from album o+> but so much better vocally, the lyrics, musically).
11. The War cassette. i think it was as long as the whole Vault cd!

5 albums from the 90s is not enough. All the good stuff was released in the 90s.
I never liked Emancipation or NewPowerSoul or Rave Into The Joy Fantastic, i did like Chaos and Disorder but only for Zanalee and Dinner with Delores.

What about that live cd (i think it was a cassette, why not cd, i mean it was 1997! The War was also released officially on cassette only, why?) a live concert from Jam of the Year Tour i think, that was his first official live album, but was only released thru 1-800-new funk store. i just looked it up, was it just a 2 track cassette called NYC? "The single caused some controversy amongst fans for costing US $20 for a cassette (which was already considered an outdated format) with only two songs. Also, shipping charges outside of the U.S. often made the tape cost US $40 or more."

1. prince
2. Come
3. Crystal Ball
4. Exodus
5. The Vault

The trick for me was the order of the five projects I liked from the 90's. I didn't care for Diamonds and Pearls, The Gold Experience, Emancipation or Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic, and I never owned Chaos and Disorder.
