I really don't get what this forum has become.

Maybe there is some other place this should be discussed? Another section? I don't know, but your role as moderators are to first guide.

I have had to endure wild speculations about his hips, religion, choice of attire, flip flops and socks and countless comparisons to other artist dead, living or unrelated or irrelevant. So, why can't this be discussed again?

Please offer an explanation, a respectful one please, if your able, as to why we can't discuss possible project that would feature his talent in this role. I have seen wonderful discussions on him in Star Trek, Ali McBeal, Las Vegas, and Spike Lee "Joints." Why not a genre of film he actually likes?

If I wanted to discuss his love of Barbarella we would not have a problem.

Now, once again, if I have placed this question in the wrong section, most decent mods of other forums just shift it.

After all, I have been a fan or Prince since before many of you were born and have conducted myself well in here, and in the old alt.prince forums years before.

i really don't get why whenever a mod locks a thread, people don't take the time to orgnote said mod, perhaps asking why it was locked as opposed to starting a thread about it.
