Is This A rare Version Of 1999? & Lets Pretend Were Married I paid like 6 bucks for it at the beat....in sacramento...and it was made in germany 
if you notice it has 7 songs instead of 11 and it only has one vinyl instead of 2. then i have the single of Lets Pretend Were Married with the Bside Of Irresistable Bitch...is this rare?

I guess it's just shorter version of 1999 (the first UK release). Then it was re-released with 11 songs tracklist. | |

People in the forum don't mind helping out. Homework is a good thing.

i have that same maxi single
i don't think much of the prince stuff is that rare or at least very expensive, i find great deals all the time in the .50-$1.00 bargain bins, like the time ice cream castles, sheila e glamorous life, old prince singles, all for 50 cents to a dollar a piece. the most i've ever paid for a prince vinyl might be $5-6. i think the maxi single cost me around 2-3 the only thing i could think of that might cost you a lot would be an original 80s pressing of the black album or maybe even one of the early bootlegs, though i see the boots around sometimes for not much [Edited 8/26/09 23:47pm] ¡The Future Is Ours, If You Can Count! https://www.youtube.com/w...A_zTY0qWWk | |

The 1999 LP is a fun collectible. In some countries there were split releases of the 1999 album, meaning two single vinyl platters marketed and sold separately. Each had varying track list configurations. Brazil had a 1999 II.

I actually have two versions of the single 1999 album. One has the normal Warner Brothers label and the other has the "eye" label Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for. |

In Australia the single version was the main released version of the album. The double was much harder to find. If I remember correctly the single album has the edited version of LPWM instead of the full one with the dirty bits! (and when I was 12 that was what mattered!) I don't have any myself but i like to see what other fans have, also if you want to know anything about Prince this is the best place to ask. When I started collecting Prince cds I was searching loads of sites and could'nt get a complete list of his music. Fansites are a great place to get all the info you need on your fave singer. | |

I don't think the org needs a separate collectibles forum. I also don't think folks should bite someone's head off when a poster asks a question about Prince memorabilia. There are plenty of "what's Prince thinking right now?" threads for those people. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
