Prince concert DVD? If we all bombard lotus flower support, asking for a live dvd release, surely Prince and his people would see how much money could be made by giving his loyal fans something they want...
Surely there's enough quality footage of the O2 shows or Coachella to get a dvd together? The clips on LotusFlow3r are cool but it'd be nice to have a dvd and watch a recent concert on a big tv with great sound and picture... | |

How bout a DVD of the last Vegas show at the Rio. I was there and there was a full film crew shooting the show. Flying camera's and everything. I'll never forget Prince doing "Superstiition" at the end of the show. Absolutly incredible. | |

I don't know why he seems so opposed to releasing live DVDs. The two he has done have largely sucked. He needs to do another one to do himself justice. | |

It seems Prince is bound and determined to make money where people dont think he can and refuses to make money where its a sure thing. | |

Maybe beacuase everytime he does what the fans want they turn around and say it sucked! When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

God I would give anything for an official release of the VHS footage of the First Avenue show that has the original live recordings that were used as the basis for the film soundtrack...it was on youtube a while ago before P yanked it...it was a revelation to see he was playing the Hohner telecaster on "Purple Rain" and not the white cloud-it would be the bomb-but Prince is smart-he could be having lawyers release all the great footage he has posthumously and make money in perpetuity-although I'm sure he just doesn't want to release material that is warts and all...he obviously guards the creative process and that is his prerogative... | |
